Ditto limped her way across the throne room of Keep Armunn. Her head still pounded it's hangover from the night before. She'd gone last night to soak her badly bruised ankle, but instead, ended up getting tipsy and injuring herself even more, doing exactly what she did in injuring herself in the firstplace. Drunk or sober, she hoped that she would soon be good enough to dance on the pole in Umbra's tavern. She had to walk carefully. Not graceful nor fluid as her norm since what she called 'pole burns' on her inner thighs stung like the thingyens.
She stopped near the side door and watched as the workmen began to leave. Their task complete. Scratching at the bandage that ran from cheek to cheek, protecting her battered and swollen nose, Ditto gazed at the workmen's accomplisment. An exact duplicate of Ceinwyn's toy, the Iron Maiden. Ditto's eyes twinkled with mischief. She had told Galnor that she would try very hard to resist the temptation to jump into her sister's spikey box... so she had one made for herself.
Ditto bit her lip and a wry grin formed on her face. She could jump out before it closed this time. She knew she could. She just needed to be quicker than the last time. Nodding to herself, she limped up to the box and stared at her long time challenger. The spikes inside shined with it's polish and seemed to beckon her. "Sooo shiney..."
And then she jumped in. The Iron Maiden snapped closed almost as soon as she'd entered, while inside, Ditto could only tilt and contort her self painfully so as not to get the full impact of the spikes. Nearly impaled by a few of the spikes, this new pain was deep. She pushed at the doors but they didnt give. Almost losing conciousness, she could feel the blood run down her legs. Weakly she tried to get a firmer stance but this only seemed to drive the spikes deeper into her side and she screamed. Blinking hard to fight passing out, she heard footsteps. She tried to open her mouth to yell or even scream again, but had no energy at that moment. She heard a door nearby open. Whoever it was, was leaving! Ditto concentrated her efforts on making a noise....finally..she wimpered loudly, but it was too late, the sound of the door closing, masking her efforts.
