The Awakening
There it was, a figure lying on what appear to be a dock. You could tell just from seeing it from the distance something unusual about it. Taking a closer look you could see now that it was a young woman, with a face that irradiated kindness from it, like a candle light, these alone would make anyone oversee deep within her…… yes for a keen eyed there was much to be seen about these woman. She was merely dressed with an old patched robe.
She raised herself on her own two feet’s, unknowing where she was unwilling to stay, her journey had began, she knowing it or not, as for she didn’t remember who she was or where…..
Not far from where she was, a man as she could tell was standing steering at her.
'Would you care to pass me that sword over there?' She hears him asking her.
But what was him speaking, she couldn’t tell. Without saying a word she went for the sword. As she closes her delicate small fingers on the handle a strange filling overcome her. She couldn’t make what it was because it faded within her to fast and shock her in surprise, but sure she was, that sword didn’t belong in her hands.
'Well now, it seems you’re not stranger to that. Well as you can see I can’t use it anymore but if you please you can take it, ill only ask for your assistance getting myself to New Haven.'
Still amused hearing these strange words she missed the fact the man was missing a leg. To short time she had to make sense of her surrounding, a fact that soon would come to her mind, still remembering the feeling, she nodded.
'Ok then, these is the way.' Said the man pointing to the distance.
So she followed the man throw a ruined city that appeared in a past time blooming with live. She still uncertain of her self, trying to remember anything, stumbling on what seemed to be a pile of bones, she looked ahead, to the side of the road and she could only saw more piles scattered here and there.
Amassed she was when all the sudden one of the piles seemed to come to live and grabbed the man from behind, as fast as these bones raised from the ground she wielded the sword and returned these thing into the pile of bones it was second ago.
Suddenly as these happen it was like a wail was lifted from her, now she was aware of the growling coming from the woods alongside the road, withing the city itself.
The mixture of feelings she had, the strange sensations within her. Brought out of her thinking she herds the man saying.
'Keen eye I have indeed. I could tell you were the right one to escort me into town. Now we must hurry, these parts aren’t safe.'
Walking as fast as the man could with he’s wooden stick she followed him throw the road until a stoned wall, the New Haven city.
'Well here we are, this is New Haven.' Turning towards her.
'For your services you shall keep the sword if you please, I have no use for it anymore.'
With these words the man turned back and disappeared into the city, leaving her standing there at the edge of the big new city, alone………..
